Most companies usually have a ceiling for the price of the car to be purchased or leased. This amount is usually seven and a half base amounts so that too high a benefit value is not added. Environmental car.

What is an environmental car? Not the same in 2013 as in 2012. The government has tightened the laws around green cars so hard that it is now very difficult to buy an green car. • Cars that can be operated with fuels other than petrol and diesel may use a maximum of 9.2 liters of petrol per 100 kilometers or 9.7 cubic meters of gas per 100 kilometres.

• Electric cars may have an energy consumption of no more than 37 kilowatt hours per 100 kilometers.

SUV. Honda CR-V – An SUV for every day. 

Japanese Honda shows that they are definitely still in the game. The CR-V is now in its fourth generation. The new CR-V is updated and even better than its predecessor. Among the things that have been improved are generous interior spaces, better four-wheel drive and more effective sound insulation. The new, more challenging exteriors have received both praise and praise. The front contains many slanted lines as well as a well-marked grill. Together with the lights, the grill forms a wing that gives a definite attitude to the new CR-V. The rear end, on the other hand, can be discussed, a high stern and slightly strange lines for the rear side windows create a disharmony. The new four-wheel drive is now operated by an electric motor, unlike its predecessor, which had two pumps that engaged the four-wheel drive when necessary via the multi-disc multi-disc clutch. If you want to drive premium German with four rings in the front, you will find yourself in a very simply equipped Audi Q3. The basic price is high and so is the equipment, but the feeling of quality is hard to beat.

Family car. BMW 3 Series Touring – A classic among company car buyers.

The BMW 3 Series is now in its sixth generation. What most distinguishes the new version from its predecessor is the new grill. The kidneys now grow together via a tear duct to the bulbs. Very elegant and neat. The size has also changed and now the combi swallows 495 liters as opposed to 460 for the previous one. With the rear seats folded, the volume increases to 1500 litres. These two numbers make the new 3 Series a class leader. A new feature is the convenient opening function for the tailgate. A whisk with your foot under the stern will automatically open the hatch. Practical when you arrive with your hands full of grocery bags etc. When it comes to handling on the road, the 3 series is definitely one of the best. BMW has persisted in not abandoning its rear-wheel drive, something that enhances the driving pleasure in many ways. The interior can hardly be complained about either, the lines above the instrument panel where pioano lacquer is mixed with matte surfaces and lines convey a sober feeling. The catch with choosing a BMW 3 Series as a company car is the price versus equipment. With a relatively high base price and expensive options, you have to live with a lower level of equipment on a 3 series if it is to go under seven and a half base amounts. If you put driving pleasure and prestige before luxurious options, a BMW 3 series is the given choice.

Challenger. Family car – Volvo V60

It is no news that Volvo is a classic brand in the company car sector. With the V60, you are on a very good level compared to the competitors BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes C-Class. 

Sports car. Subaru BRZ – The perfect combination.

There are certain ingredients that a sports car must contain in order to be allowed to be called one. Among these we find, rear-wheel drive, low weight and low center of gravity, fast engine, a rigid chassis and preferably a coupe format. The Subaru BRZ has all these ingredients. The model is built together with Toyota and is similar to their GT86. What differentiates them externally are only a few details. The biggest difference is the engine. Subaru traditionally has a four-cylinder boxer engine with 200 horses. A bit weak but still enough. The steering is wonderfully direct and on the Swedish winter roads you handle every gear like child's play. Even the manual box is of a short-shift character with a mechanical feel. The BRZ is mainly suitable for people who really like to drive and don't need to bring the whole family. The rigid chassis makes longer journeys rather uncomfortable in the passenger seat. But as a sports car alternative, the BRZ is a given, more fun behind the wheel for this amount of money you have to look for.

Challenger. Sports car – Hyundai Genesis

More comfort than the Subaru but slightly cooler in character. Since the facelift in 2012, Genesis also looks really good, Korean Hyundai shows once again that they can build good and fun cars.

City car. Volkswagen Up – Wolfsburg's smallest offers generously.

When you open the door of this only 3.5 meter long car, it's as if someone is casting a spell. When you sit behind the wheel, Up suddenly feels like a car in standard format, all interior dimensions are large and anything but claustrophobic. Four adults can easily fit without having to elbow each other. So far, this segment of minicars is not huge in Sweden. If you come down to the continent, however, it is teeming with them. In city traffic, the Up is absolutely phenomenal to drive, no parking space is too small and in the dense inner-city traffic, the Up gets around as easily as a piece of cake. But even when the road gets wider and the speed increases, Up doesn't have to be ashamed of itself. Even the noise level is acceptable. Thanks to its format, no large engine is needed to drive this equipment. With the new rules for green cars, even this small smart city car fails to qualify as an green car in 2013. Only if you don't choose the Eco-Up, which runs on biogas or the E-Up, which will be launched later this year and is electric, the Up will be classified as an green car . A very positive thing, on the other hand, is the price, a so-to-speak full-smeared Up easily goes under four basic amounts. So if you don't need a big car and spend most of your time in the city, the Up is definitely a car to take a closer look at.
