Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4SV<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last bat that is actually the nickname of a famous bull has been released from the factory in Sant'Agata. And it's a bat that leaves its mark on history to say the least. The LP-670-4 SV, which is based on the traditional Murci\u00e9lago LP-640-4, has now received a slightly larger engine, which is the reason for the name change 670 instead of 640 and it accounts for the number of horsepower, which is now a full 670. The addition SV in the name stands for SuperVeloce and is Italian for Super Speed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The engine is largely the same V12 that Lamborghini has used since the Miura era and the LP-670 SV is the last to get this engine. With the planned successor for the Murci\u00e9lago, which so far goes by the name Jota, a new engine will be developed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is new about the LP-670 SV is that it has been lightened a lot, a full 100 kilos have been managed to be slimmed down. They have also put on a large wing to increase the down force, the ground pressure, but reduce the top speed to 337 km\/h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I arrive at the factory on a sunny Thursday in June, they have already parked the angry fire yellow LP-670 SV outside the entrance. It absolutely burns with power and potency and with that I know that my coming hours will be imprinted in my memory for a long time to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a quick tour of the factory and to see the production of the car, I am introduced to my test driver who will be with me during the drive. He has typical Italian style and with a polo shirt that has a large Lamborghini bull embroidered on the chest. We jump into the car and I familiarize myself with the essentials, gas, brake and gearshift paddles. When I start the engine, I get a shiver all over my body, the high-revving V12 leaves no one unmoved with its roar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We roll out of the factory and slowly weave our way through the traffic towards the countryside where the country roads are straight as nails. On the way out, it is inevitable to lie down and pull on each gear a little extra long, the V12 howls so wonderfully at high revs and it is a true symphony for the ear and the reason. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we finally get out of the heavy traffic and I get the opportunity to push the plate into the carpet for the first time, it's like a catapult launching me, the brute force is absolutely incredible and abundant. However, pushing the car up to its top speed of 342 km\/h is not possible, but passing the speed you rarely even get up to no matter how hard you try with many other cars is no problem at all. Then pressing the brake at the bottom from 200 km\/h to a standstill is so powerful that the brain seems to sit like a stamp on the windshield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An LP-670 SV is large and it's noticeable when it's a bit cramped, visibility is quite limited but you sit very comfortably in the sporty seats with 5-point seat belts. But despite its size, the car feels easy to handle when the road starts to turn, the steering is so direct and fast and in combination with the four-wheel drive, the LP-670 SV is as nimble as any.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Murcielago LP-670-4 SV is the latest in the Murci\u00e9lago model range with its V12 and it hands over the legacy with pride and a lovely roar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
